Pittsburgh Nursing Home Sexual Assault Results in Prison Sentence for Former Worker at the Facility

A former worker at a Pennsylvania nursing home was sentenced to two to five years in prison for five counts of sexual assault on a nursing home resident.

Marc Lane, 39, was sentenced Thursday in Allegheny County Court after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting two male patients at Consulate Health Care, a Pittsburgh nursing home. The victims, an 84-year old resident and a 65-year old resident with Parkinson’s Disease, were both wheelchair bound. Lane was also sentenced to five years probation for indecent exposure.
